In the folds of time, we tame each other

In the folds of time, we tame each other

At six o'clock in the morning, the porcelain bowls in the kitchen made a faint collision sound, a ray of sunlight leaked into the windowsill, and the curled up fur on the floor stretched lazily, slowly approaching and rubbing against your ankle. This scene may repeat itself in your life every day, but every time you look at each other, those moist eyes still soften your heart - the feeling of being unconditionally trusted by another life, so gentle.
The relationship between humans and pets is like a lengthy conversation that requires no words. They can't understand complex vocabulary, but they can sense fatigue from your light footsteps, silently sticking to your warm belly as you curl up on the sofa; You may not know why it always likes to hide toys under the bed, but is willing to squat down and play a childish scene of "you throw them and I pick them up" with it. This tacit understanding transcends the boundaries of species and becomes a small resonance between two lonely souls in a vast world.
We always think we have domesticated pets ourselves, but we are inadvertently changed by them: accustomed to saying "wait for me to come home" before going out, starting to pay attention to which grassland on the street corner is most suitable for rolling, and even learning to identify the temperature of the four seasons from a messy ball of yarn. Pets are not decorations in life, but anchors that bring us back to the present moment. They use a cat teaser stick and a grinding biscuit to teach us how to experience happiness in the most primitive way - while chasing a falling feather, humans and animals share the same pure freedom.
The most precious bonds are often hidden in the most ordinary details. Amidst the sound of a keyboard working late at night, a sudden snoring could be heard. On a rainy day, small ripples could be caused by a paw stepping on a puddle, or at a moment of collapse, a wet nose could lightly touch the palm of the hand... These fragments piled up into a silent fortress, making us believe that even if the world occasionally tilts, there is still a life willing to share its entire universe with you.
Some people say that keeping pets is like planting a flower that is destined to wither. But those four seasons that we have walked through together have already engraved another eternity into each other's life trajectories - when we choose to become each other's family, time is no longer a countdown hourglass, but a circle interwoven with body temperature and heartbeat.
At this moment, if you are reading this passage, why not look up and see the little life curled up at your feet dozing off. It may never learn human language, but it has already written a long letter in your heart in the most clumsy way.
